Welcome to MOMS Club®

Upon joining, you will receive access to our group on Facebook, a monthly newsletter, member roster and calendar of events.

MOMS Connect - Once a month, the club holds a business meeting open to all members. We will occasionally have a guest speaker. Our meetings allow moms the chance to socialize with other moms and to discuss plans for our chapter. Children are always welcome to attend. We will have childcare provided or you may also choose to have your child stay with you.  Our monthly meeting is held in a church, but we are not affiliated with any religious organization.

Playgroups – Our playgroups meet once a week either at a member's house, local park, or other public location. All members are encouraged to belong to a playgroup. Our playgroup coordinator will help you figure out and plan what playgroup will best fit your needs. Playgroups are encouraged to stay small with no more than six mothers so that good friendships can form.

Subclubs - Activity groups for members with common interests. These change as interests change, but may include: cooking/freezer meals, book club, fitness, gardening, and sewing/craft club. If you have an interest that you would like to share with others, talk to the president about how to start your own activity group.

Moms' Night Out – Once a month, members are invited out to an evening out without the children as a way to unwind and interact with other moms. Nursing children may always attend.

HOOT 'n' HOWL - (Husbands Out Of Town & Husbands Out Working Late) Dinnertime play dates for families whose husbands travel or work late.

Support Services – Offering meals, childcare or household services to our member families who have just had a baby or are experiencing a family emergency.

Community Service Projects - Each year we complete at least one community service project benefiting children. Any proceeds from our fundraisers are donated to charities.  Past events have been Preschool Fair, Garage Sales, and Adopt a Family.  This year we chose to adopt Felida Park.

Leadership Opportunities - MOMS Club® offers leadership opportunities for its members. Playgroup or activity coordinators, board positions -- inquire with any board member for details!

Field Trips - Occasionally we offer field trips to a common place of interest during the day. Generally, all ages are accommodated when possible. Great outings have included the Portland Zoo, Children's Museum, OMSI, Pumpkin Patch or U-Pick Berry Farms.

We rely on our members to host activities to meet the needs of our moms. You may come to as many or as few of the monthly activities as you’d like.  It’s all up to you! Examples of some of these events are:

  • Park days

  • Hosting a coffee hour or kid craft at your home

  • Tour of a fire station

  • Library story time

  • Indoor Playgrounds

MOMS Club is a 501 (c)3 that offers daytime support for mothers who are home, full or part-time with their children. This includes mothers of all ages of children- infants, preschoolers, elementary schoolers and beyond.
